Look at what our chickens did!

Of course, the kids needed me to get down the old egg basket

I bought at a yard sale a few summers ago…

And after a bit of clowning around, we collected our very first eggs.

Can’t wait till we eat our very first Scott Farm, homegrown eggs!

  2. They are just trying to give you something to eat rather than them~!

  4. We had scrambled eggs tonight! We had 4 farm eggs from a friend, two of ours (we left one in the new nesting box as an example) and a few store eggs we mixed together. Our free-range eggs had a very different color. The yolk is a very deep yellow-orange. The kids ate seconds on the scrambled eggs tonight.
